Let there be Bass... in Croatian waters!

In last ten years we are witness of Bass fishing explosion in our country. More and more anglers are dedicated to this fish. They are collecting all kind of Bass lures and participating on Bass completions. Probably the best water in Croatia in last few years is Trakoscan lake (beside Borovik lake). If you like this kind of fishing and you are here, you have to go there. I took some photos of Croatian basses from my photo archive, because I didn't fish them a lot this year. I got few on my fly rod but this is a part of some other fishing story.

Nice fish!
And which lake do you recommend better...Trakoscan or the lake Borovik? I saw some videos on the youtube and I can see that belly boat fishing is allowed on the lake Trakoscan. Is that right?

Do you also know Lake Soderica? As I heard it is also good for bass...

hey... sorry for late answer!
belly boat is not allowed on both lakes like any type of boats too. it is hard to say which one is better, maybe borovik, because there you have more chance to catch big bass over 50 cm. lake soderica is good, you can try to contact some of guys from koprivnica town,if you need any contact i can give it to you. but now, it seems that bass season is almost over, so next year if you like to come, just contact me for info.

Hi, thanks for your answer. Yes, sure, I thought of next year of course ;-)
Ok, I will contact you in any case.
It is no problem for me if I catch smaller basses. The main thing is to catch and even it is a big fish than it is much better ;-)
