Dry fly fishing!

A dozen of grayling, one rainbow, chub and two brown trout (one was 49 cm long) made my day. Curak and Kupica are awesome if you are here at certain water level, slightly higher than average at summer... Small brown cdc dry flies tied on hooks no. 14 - 20 are only what you need. Of course if you like bigger brown, you can try with something bigger ;)

River Sava fly fishing action again

Sava is remarkable river for short fly fishing actions. One or two hours before sunset is enough to have few fish, like asp or chub. Close to our homes, and so beautiful and generous to us, fly fishing addicts who can't wait another weekend to come.

From Japan, the land of giant Bass...

Hello, my fellow anglers. I’m Takatoshi Murase. Everyone calls me Taka or T. I’m originally from Tokyo Japan. I had lived in California, the United States for nearly 6 years, where I had lots of great memories for Bass fishing. I am now working at Megabass, actually it’s only been 3 months since I started working there.

Since I have been back home in Japan, I mostly go fish at those little local ponds instead going to the famous Lake Biwa, which is way too far from where my home town is. Anyways, there are tons of places you can fish bass and other species as well. Right now, I’m preparing for the Bass fishing trip to Northern California, which I’m really excited about! If you are interested in my
fishing experience and want to share your passion, follow me on Facebook.

Coarse fly fishing on river Sava!

River Sava around Zagreb is interesting river for all types of fishing, and fly fishing can be interesting here too. The main species are asp and chub, but you can successfully catch several others species with fly rod like sneep, danube roach, barbel, pike, pike perch, yellow perch, carp or even cat fish if you know where to find it. The quality of water in this river is better than few years ago so we can enjoy regardless what type of fishing techniques we like.
