About Tenkara fly fishing

I'm pretty sure that no one are using this traditional Japanese fly fishing technique in Croatia, but few little grayling streams here like Curak, Kupica or Čabranka will be ideal for this lite presentation. What are the differences between conventional fly fishing technique and what are advantages for small streams you can see on these videos and web sites. Ok, Ante when can we expect first Tenkara rods here? ;)
